The First Location Opens
Cafe Rio opened its doors on Camelback Road in Phoenix, AZ. Founder Maria Santos started with a 10-item menu and 12 tables — and a dream to feed the neighborhood with love.
Expanding the Menu
Following overwhelming demand, Cafe Rio launched its now-iconic brunch menu and extended evening hours. Customer favorites like the Rio Bowl and Sunrise Wrap were born.
Second Location & Catering
We opened our second Phoenix location and launched Cafe Rio Catering — bringing our signature dishes to weddings, corporate events, and private parties across Arizona.
National Recognition
Cafe Rio was featured in Food & Wine Magazine and named one of "The Southwest's Top 50 Restaurants." Our online ordering platform launched to serve customers statewide.
Franchise Program Launch
